Club Diablo

After years of working in local area rock clubs, Buffalo entrepreneur Jesse Zeufle has finally accomplished his dream – a truly unique club that stands out from anything else in the Buffalo area. Club Diablo is an upscale alternative bar for grown-ups and younger clientele alike, offering a lush
décor and a wide lineup of drinks ranging from a dozen beers in the three-dollar category, to
eight-dollar signature martinis and devil-themed wines and microbrews, and a music selection that extends the jukebox into the 600,000 song range. In short, it’s a place, depending on the night, you could either take a date for a nice quiet drink, or dance like it was 1981 again to Blondie and the Cure, or see some of the best new music in town in a classier, big-city atmosphere.

The décor is ‘Retro meets Beetlejuice’; red suede couches and stainless tables, a pool table and dartboard, abstract lighting, and comfortable bar stools complete the ambiance. A personal highlight is the spotlessly clean stainless steel bathrooms, normally a trouble spot in almost every club. Even the ‘johns’ are stainless.

So, come for the specialty drinks made with black vodka and secret ingredients, or the fine selection of Casillero del Diablo wines, or even to watch the projection system throwing flames onto the band on a Saturday night. For those looking for something not quite a rock dive, not quite a shiny-new mainstream [thump-thump] club, I’ve got great news – you’re home.
